Favorite Bible Verse (so many awesome ones to choose from , but this is one that I really love..)

John 15:9
"As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.

My name is Melody Ott and I am the youth director at St. Anastasia.  I became the youth director about five years ago.  At that time I was a Clinical Social Worker in private practice providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and families.  When I was approached about taking the youth ministry position at St. Anastasia, I was convinced that I wasn’t equipped to take the job!  Upon much prayer and discussion with my family, I accepted the position and the rest, as they say, is history!  In addition to my Master of Social Work degree that I received from Florida State University (go Noles!), I have also completed my Certificate in Youth Ministry studies from the Center for Ministry Development.  I believe that God has called me into this field and blessed me with the opportunity to share his love and the life of his son, Jesus Christ, with the young people in our community.   This is the best job in the WORLD – I love it!

Hey, My Name is Cynthia Dueling and I am Youth Ministry Assistant at St. Anastasia.  Currently, I attend Flagler College and will be graduating in April of 2010 with degrees in Sociology and Youth Ministry. I started working with the Youth Group two years ago. Watching their Faith grow is the most rewarding part of this job. I feel that we are all a big family because we spend so much time together. I love working with kids so much I started a Children’s Liturgy of the Word Program for K-3rd grade kids in October of 2008. I take pride in our program here and look forward to what God has planned for me in the future.  This is an awesome place to have fun and worship Christ!

Bible Verse:   By choosing this bible verse I want people to remember that God will always be there to love us regardless.

1 John 4:16

“We have come to know and to believe in the love God has for us. God is Love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in Him.”
